What better way to kick-start the New Year than attend the New Years Day Gathering at Brooklands Museum. Brooklands Museum is recognised by enthusiasts of Classic and Historic cars as THE place to gather early on January 1st each year!
A surprise event followed the following Sunday when Supercars, luxury cars and exotic cars descended on the Brooklands Museum site for the first Source Luxury Motors Cars breakfast meeting. More of these events are planned - follow Source Luxury Motor Cars on Facebook for future date announcements.
Autosport international, the firm favourite with Motorsport enthusiasts from around the globe followed at the NEC Birmingham. F1 cars, racing cars, celebrities and so much more!
The Vintage Sports-Car Club Driving Tests at Brooklands Museum had competitors tackle the complicated courses laid out around the Brooklands site whilst putting their Vintage cars through their paces!
February drew to a close with two fantastic shows. The London Classic Car Show at Excel, London and Race Retro at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire. Each one very different to the other but each one with exciting, unique features.
One of the most exciting events of the year is Members Meeting at Goodwood. The 75th Members Meeting was full of action and thrills!
Mini Mania hit Brooklands when 100's of the Nation's favourite classic descended on to the Museum site. Brooklands Mini Day is supported heavily by fans of this iconic marque.
Silverstone Classic Media Day provided an exciting preview of the event which will take place at Silverstone in July.
MG Era at Brooklands Museum drew hundreds of the icon British Sports Car to participate in various events around the Museum site and included a parade around the Mercedes-Benz World Test circuit
As April drew to a close the second Breakfast Meeting hosted by Source Luxury was again a huge success with Supercars of all marques arrive at Brooklands Museum.
Auto Italia was a very 'Red' day at Brooklands Museum. A combination of glamour and power. Once again there was a parade on the Mercedes-Benz Test circuit and the Brooklands Test Hill was opened for the 'big challenge'
may started with a trip to Battersea Park for The London Motor Show sponsored by confused.com. Great to have a Motor Show established in the city and even the Napier Railton made the journey from Brooklands Museum!
Down to Goodwood Motor Circuit for the Benjafields Sprint. Wonderful to see the historic bentleys race around the track. There were some pretty impressive demonstration vehicles in action also.
Warm nostalgia returned to Brooklands Museum for the annual 1940's Relived Wonderful outfits, fantastic swing time music from the Kalamazoo Dance Band, vocalists and a huge dance tent.
Visitors had the opportunity of a portrait sitting in the Barbara Cartland Room at the Museum.
Many more events planned for 2017 so please keep coming back.
