Classic Car and Motorcycle owners, fans and enthusiasts poured into the NEC Birmingham for The Footman James Classic Motor Show 2011. There were well over 1000 gleaming examples of fabulous cars on display. Classic and Vintage Car clubs were well represented and with their enthusiasm and knowledge of individual marques were attracting new members and meeting up with existing club members. Rare examples of Bugatti. Borgward, Bristol, Alvis, Ferrari attracted much adoration as did the much loved British iconic E type Jaguar. The 'yankee' section had some fine examples of huge American muscle cars and included the NSRA display of amazing Hot Rods. Ford fans were nostalgic when they saw examples of models they once owned fully and lovingly restored and in pristine condition. The Restoration Theatre demonstrated 'hands on' restoration and maintenance techniques throughout the duration of the event. Over in the Motorcycle Hall Carl Fogarty (four times World Superbike Champion) and Frankie Chili (former World Superbike Champion) chatted and thrilled the many fans who queued patiently for their autographs.
