The catch phrase was 'From the Home Front to The Front Line' and that is exactly what happened across the Brooklands site during the month of May.Early in the morning the stalls in the 'village' were being set up to sell all sorts of vintage memorabilia. Slowly but surely a few cars of the era arrived and took their places. Military vehicles were parked up including a few tanks surrounded by Dad's Army ready to do battle. I managed to get access to the office where an old gramophone was playing nostalgic music to disguise the secret telephone conversations and morse code signals.By early afternoon the party was in full swing with dancing to the sweet sounds of the Swingtime Sweethearts
